Home Safety Assessment

Our Home Safety Assessment helps older adults and individuals with mobility challenges reduce fall risks and live safely at home. During the in‑home visit, we identify hazards in each room of the home, then provide a personalized plan with practical recommendations and product suggestions — such as grab bar placements in the bathroom or a bed rail to improve nighttime safety. The goal is a safer, more accessible home that supports independence and adapts to your changing needs over time.

Application for the Programme d'adaptation de domicile (PAD)

We help Quebec residents living with a permanent disability apply to the Programme d’adaptation de domicile (PAD), which provides funding for home modifications like ramps, widened doorways, and adapted bathrooms. As occupational therapists, we guide you through eligibility, paperwork, and documentation to ensure a smooth, accurate application. The goal is a safer, more accessible home that supports long‑term independence.
Management of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Long COVID

Management of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis and Long COVID

Offered entirely online to clients across Canada — no referral or formal diagnosis required. For those with more severe forms, sessions can be conducted with a caregiver. Occupational therapists help reduce the risk of post‑exertional malaise through pacing and energy conservation strategies, and provide recommendations to doctors and insurance companies on return to work, symptom management, and education about the condition. Frequency, duration, and format are fully tailored to individual needs and capacity.

Office Ergonomics Assessment

Conducted on‑site at your home office or workplace, this service is ideal for those experiencing pain, wanting to prevent discomfort, or planning to purchase new office equipment. The occupational therapist will take a medical history, review work tasks and environment, and perform a postural assessment. Immediate adjustments will be made where possible, with recommendations discussed on the spot. A comprehensive report follows the assessment. We can also accompany clients to furniture or equipment suppliers for product selection (additional appointment required).
